The Yellow Trail Museum's Saturday Sampler series of workshops for children returns this week with a look at "Collection Protection."

The Saturday Sampler series is held on the first Saturday of each month. The one-hour program includes a lesson, crafts or a hands-on experience, and a snack for participants. These sessions are usually best for kids over 4 years old, and have information for kids through high school ages. Adults are welcome to attend also.

The series at the museum on the northwest corner of the Hope Town Square run from 10 to 11 a.m. and parents are asked to stay while their children are participating.

March 3rd -- Lighting the Way: Candle making

April 7th -- Green Thumb: Backyard gardening

May 5th -- Farm Friends: Animals on the Farm

June 2nd -- Colorful Fun: Natural Dyes
