From Patsy Harris
The Rev. Stormy Scherer-Berry will bring the message, "While in Their Joy:Dancing Sure," at the 9 a.m. worship service at Petersville United Methodist Church on April 15.
This Sunday acknowledges that sometimes we are unsure about our steps in this world, and the scriptures from Luke 41 describe everything in creation offering joyful noises to God. Joe Bush will serve as liturgist, and Teresa Covert will give the children's message. The adult choir, directed by Kathy Bush, will provide special music. A time of fellowship will follow the service, and Rev. Scherer-Berry will continue the study, "Shaped by God's Heart," beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The Monday night Bible study groups will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the homes of Larry and Connie Nolting and Chris Kimerling. Sit 'n Stitch will meet Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m., also at the Nolting home. Barb Hedrick will lead the Prayer group Thursday morning at 10 a.m. at the church.
United Methodist Women will meet at the church at 6 p.m. Thursday April 19.
