The Rev. Stormy Scherer-Berry will deliver the message, "A Time for Every Matter," at the Sunday morning worship service at 9 a.m. at the Petersville United Methodist Church.

She will ask the question, "What cost to ourselves, to our relationships, and to our planet is the frantic pace we keep?" Scriptures from Luke 10:38-42 will be shared by liturgist Patsy Harris. The Choir will provide special music, and Teresa Covert will give the children's sermon. A time of fellowship will follow the service. At 10:30 a.m., the study, "Shaped by God's Heart," will convene and will be led by the pastor. 

The United Methodist Men's group will meet Sunday morning at 7:15 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. The annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on the lawn of the church on Saturday April 13 at 1 p.m.; children from toddler age to the 6th grade are invited.

The Baker's Dozen study group will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the home of Larry and Connie Nolting. The Journey Study class also meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the home of Chris Kimerling. The Sit and Stitch group will meet Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., also at the Nolting home. Choir practice is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, and the Prayer Group will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
