The Rev. Stormy Scherer-Berry will deliver the message, "Hope," at the 9 a.m. worship service on Sunday morning.

The sermon series for the month is "Calm and Bright," based on the 200th anniversary of the hymn "Silent Night." Scriptures from Isaiah 9:6 and Matthew 2:1-12 will be given by liturgist Patsy Harris, and the Advent Wreath will be lit. The children will be singing and signing a verse of the song, "Do You See What I See?" and the adult choir will share special music. Teresa Covert will give the children's sermon. A time of fellowship will follow the service.

The study of "The Gift of the Nutcracker" will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday and will be led by Rev. Scherer-Berry.

The Bible Study classes held each Monday will resume following the holidays, and the Sit and Stitch class on Tuesday will also resume after the holidays.
