The United Methodist Women's group at Petersville United Methodist Church will present the worship service on Sunday at 9 a.m.

Under the direction of president Kathy Bush and vice-president Chris Kimerling, the women will share the subjects of their monthly meetings including a Racial Justice Moment, a selection from the organization's international Response magazine, and how the local unit carries out its focus of caring for women and children of the world. The unit meets the third Thursday evening each month, and anyone is welcome to become a member. You don't have to be a United Methodist or meet an age requirement to join.

A special song will be shared which is called "The Purpose of United Methodist Women." Teresa Covert will give the children's sermon. A time of fellowship will follow the service, and materials will be available for anyone who wants to know more about United Methodist Women.
