The Rev. Stormy Scherer-Berry will deliver the message, "Praise Decision," at the 9 a.m. worship service on Sunday morning at the Petersville United Methodist Church, 2781 N. County Road 500E, Columbus.

The theme for the morning will be "No matter where we are in life, praising God resets our mindset." The liturgist will share scriptures from Psalm 146 and Mark 12:38-44, and Teresa Covert will give the children's story. The choir will provide special music, directed by Kathy Bush and accompanied by Chris Kimerling. A time of fellowship will follow the service.

The Monday night Bible study classes will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Kimerling home and at the Nolting home; newcomers are always welcome. The Sit and Stitch group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday night, also at the Nolting home. Choir practice will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, and the Thursday prayer time will be at 10 a.m. at the church with Barb Hedrick as leader.

The annual Charge Conference for Petersville and other local United Methodist churches will be held at 5 p.m. November 18 at First United Methodist Church in Columbus.
