The Petersville United Methodist Church will gather at 9 a.m. Sunday August 2 for worship.

Those attending are requested to wear masks; they are available at the table inside the narthex if persons do not have their own. Also, seating will be arranged for social distancing, and offerings may be left in the basket on the table. Teresa Covert will give the children's sermon. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own Bibles.

The Interim Pastor Rebecca Milne will bring the message, "Thy Kingdom Come," and will use scriptures from Matthew 6. She will emphasize that the Lord's Prayer teaches us that God's Kingdom is coming here and we have a part to play. Communion will be served outdoors near the rose garden with the elements presented in a safe manner by Rebecca and Joe Bush, the Lay Leader at Petersville.
