On Sunday, December 20th, the longest night of the year, there will be a Blue Christmas Service held online to help those struggling during the holidays.

It is a worship service acknowledging that not everyone is happy this time of year with all of us feeling the stress of COVID-19. But, you may find peace and comfort in Christ.  If you are having trouble finding joy in this most wonderful time of the year due to a loss of family, friends, job… you are not alone.

Hope United Methodist Church pastor Ed Cottrell will be holding the service Sunday, Dec. 20th, starting at 7 p.m. on his Facebook page. It is sponsored by the Hope/Flatrock/Hawcreek Ministerial Association and hosted by HUMC.
