The Lady Jets started fast against Indy Lutheran on Thursday night at home scoring 25 points in the first quarter and 45 in the first half, while only giving up 25. Hauser continued to play well into the second half, winning the third quarter 17-7 and coasting to a 71-41 win.

MaxPreps Player of the Game senior Adrianna Musallami poured in a career high 19 points on 7 of 8 shooting and was a perfect 4 of 4 from the charity stripe. The team as a whole shot the basketball very well from the field again Thursday night going 26 of 48 for a 54% field goal percentage. Junior Madelyn Poe dished out six assists and scored 17 points, while getting six deflections. Senior Kyliegh Parrott scored 17 points and recorded three steals and was 6 of 8 from the free throw line. Sophomore Norah Berkenstock also recorded three steals and was in double figures scoring 11 points. Junior’s Kenze Bostic and Bella Kilps both recorded a team high seven rebounds, while Kilps chipped in 5 points on a perfect 2 for 2 shooting night. Bostic recorded a team high five blocks for the game. Senior Jaden Sims rounded out the scoring for the Jets with two points.

The Jets forced Indy Lutheran into 16 turnovers and turned that into 21 points and produced 19 assists on the night.

The team is now 4-3 and will host Beech Grove on Saturday for a varsity only game starting at 1:30 p.m.
