The Hope Area Chamber of Commerce, Main Street of Hope and the Yellow Trail Museum are hosting Hope Civil War Days May 4th and 5th (Saturday and Sunday) on the Hope Town Square.

Festivities start Saturday morning at 8 a.m. and conclude with traditional dancing at 7 p.m. Festivities will include character tours in the Moravian Cemetery, live music in the square, and various presentations throughout the weekend.

Sunday will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a traditional Moravian Church service and a ceremony at Barton Mitchell's  grave. We will provide free beans and cornbread starting at 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
