The weather forecast for tonight's second Hope Farmers Market of the season is looking considerably better than the previous market's rainout.

The market runs from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight on the Hope Town Square and will feature the band South of 44, along with the usual vendors and vehicle cruise-in.

In June, organizers and participants had 30 to 40 minutes of market time before heavy rains ended the festivities. But the National Weather Service is predicting clear skies and cooler temperatures for tonight's event. The high is only expected to be 83, dipping to a low in the upper 50s tonight.

The markets are set for the first Friday of the month through October.  For more information you can call 812-546-0423.
