Area churches are partnering with WILLow LeaVes to bring a blended service, The Cross, on Sundays through the fall and the winter.

The Cross has been held at the Hauser auditorium, the Moravian Church, and on the Town Square. The first time being at WILLow LeaVes is this Sunday, Nov. 12th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. which will give people attending an opportunity to explore the store. Complimentary drinks will be provided by the ladies of WILLow LeaVes and cookies by Hope United Methodist Church.

Pastor Ed Cottrell of Hope United Methodist Church will deliver a devotional. Dale Sechrest and a five-member band will lead songs including:

  • Awesome Is The Lord Most High

  • My Savior Lives

  • Everlasting God

  • Enough

  • Potter's Hand

  • Draw Me Close To You.

If you have not been to The Cross, it promises once again to be a great service. You are encouraged to bring your family to this special community gathering to worship. If attending, you should dress comfortably.

The Cross will not be meeting in December due to a community service at First Baptist Church Of Hope.
