The Yellow Trail Museum is offering free programs for kids called Saturday Samplers from 10 to 11 a.m., the first Saturday of each month.

Each program will offer a short lesson, crafts, and snacks for all participants. These are usually best for kids over 4 years old, and have information for kids through high school ages. Parents are asked to stay for the programs with their children. Adults are welcome to attend also.

On Jan. 6th, our program will be about Rural Mail Delivery, since Hope had some of the earliest experimental routes in the nation. Come learn about this early form of communication before there were cell phones, email, Facebook or Instagram for immediate sharing of information. See and touch some of the museum's artifacts about this part of our history. And find out how hard this job was back in 1896 and beyond.

No registration required. Just show up by 10 a.m.
