The Yellow Trail Museum/Hope Visitors Center will be hosting a celebration of 100 years of women's suffrage from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26th.

The museum will be open 10 a.m. to noon to make “Votes For Women” sashes. A banner will be available for everyone to sign to support Votes For Women during this presidential election year.

The museum volunteers are encouraging girls to bring their American Girl dolls or other dolls – sash kits will be available for making sashes for the dolls also.

At noon on the north side of the Hope Town Square – a Women’s Suffrage Rally led by Hope’s Deb Seward Sloane will be held. A march around the square will follow ending at Willow Leaves of Hope for lunch and discussion.

Come join us for this one-time-only, historic event. Men and women of all ages are welcome. Children under 10 need adult supervision. Costumes are encouraged but not required.

History is not just in the past. It is happening right now, so don’t miss it.
