Gladys M. Reece, 87, of Hope passed away Tuesday June 21, 2022 at Miller’s Merry Manor.
Born October 22, 1934 in Columbus Gladys was the daughter of William and Lottie Edith Sprague Hollman. She married Lawrence Reece August 7, 1970 and he preceded her in death on March 22, 2000.
Gladys was a member of First Baptist Church of Hope.
She is survived by daughter, Teresa (Mike) Bradford of Columbus; grandsons, Joshua Adams of Hope and Caleb Adams of Columbus; siblings, Ed Hollman of Hope, Roy Hollman of Hartsville, Dorothy Moffitt of Columbus and Bessie Hollman of North Vernon; brother-in-law, James (Susie) Reece of Greensburg; sister-in-laws, Mary Anderson of Fl., Ruth (Max) Kelley of Waldron and Virginia Snakovsky of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral for Gladys will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to service time. Burial will follow at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be donated directly to First Baptist Church of Hope or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters, Betty Hollman, Anna Ault, Opal Reece; brothers, Charles Hollman, Kenneth Hollman and Ralph Hollman and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
