Rosalyn Louise Koch Faulkner, 84, of Indianapolis passed away Thursday June 9, 2022 at her daughter’s home in Hope.
Born June 29, 1937 in Wauzeka, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Karl J. Koch and Amy L. Derrickson Koch. She married Lyle Faulkner February 27, 1954 and he preceded her in death January 25, 2009.
Before retirement Rosalyn was employed as a retail manager in the clothing business.
She was a former member of Brookside United Methodist Church in Indianapolis.
Rosalyn enjoyed crafting, sewing, bird watching and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Rosalyn is survived by children, Melanie Blakley of Greenfield, Lyla (Edward) Cottrell of Hope and Michele Embrey of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Jason Blakley, Chantel Howell, Ryan Cottrell, Amanda Baldwin, Amy Willits, Brandy Clark, Krystal Peavler, Lyle Faulkner and Melyssa Faulkner; great grandchildren, Savanna Nicole Blakley, Gwendolyn Howell, Victoria Kelly, Rylee Baldwin, Jacob Willits, Logan Willits, Lilly and Lexis Clark, Braxton, Riley, Logan and Brendon Peavler, Rune Faulkner and Dahlia Hawthorne; brother, Kenny (Nina) Koch of Columbus.
Rosalyn’s funeral service will be Tuesday June 14, 2022 at noon at Hope United Methodist Church with her son-in-law Edward Cottrell officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 am until service time at the church. Burial will be at Anderson Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Memorial contributions may be donated directly to donor’s choice of Breast Cancer Awareness Organization or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Rosalyn was preceded in death by her parents Karl and Amy; husband, Lyle; son, Eric Faulkner; son-in-law, Don Blakley and sister, Carol Wachuta.
