This is a new and unique opportunity in Bartholomew County. Applications are now being accepted for a Jail Addiction Treatment Program Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for creating a full drug treatment program within the Bartholomew County Jail to help people move forward in their lives. 

This is a new position and will focus on creating a brand new program and maintaining the program as it grows.  The successful candidate will also provide group counseling that is based on cognitive behavioral therapy programming. 

This position requires a Master’s Degree or equivalent social services discipline with 3 years post graduate work experience.  Possession of a license in one of the following:  LCSW, LMHC, with certification as an addiction specialist and/or LCAC.

The position will require the successful candidate to counsel inmates and help them: with their addiction, finding jobs, developing life skills, parenting skills, leadership development, communication skills and family education. 

The successful candidate will use his/her skills and experience to create, develop, and implement a program from its beginning stages.   There will also be opportunities to provide educational programs.
