Hope police to fill Christmas needs

By HSJ Online [email protected]

The Hope Police Department is looking to brighten Christmas for 10 local children.

The department has been providing help with Christmas presents and food baskets for the needy for about seven years, said Marshal Matt Tallent. Each year, the department tries to provide $150 to $200 in help for each child, through community donations.

Last year, the department set up a Go Fund Me page online and had good success with it, leading Tallent to try the online fundraising site again.

About $760 had been raised so far toward the $2,000 goal. Go Fund Me for Hope Cops Christmas for Kids.[[In-content Ad]]
