Hope United Methodist Church news for Dec. 28th

By From Carol Gardner-

Our Christmas Eve Service was beautiful, as always. We are in awe of the beauty of our church every day, and especially when "dressed up" for the Christmas season.

On Christmas morning, we were blessed with a prelude of very nice Christmas music, played on our organ by Rachel Essex. Rachel has been taking lessons a very short time, and is progressing rapidly, so we expect more from her in the future! Thank you, Rachel!

Pastor Warren's sermon was "The Story of Christmas," with Scripture Lesson from Isaiah 9:2-7, and Gospel Lesson from Luke 2:1-20.

The Advent Candles, the candles of Hope, Peace, Joy and Love, were lit by Matthew Tobias.

We look forward to the program on Hymns which will be Jan. 15, presented by Rev. & Mrs. David Brown, with the Tea Creek Baptist Choir.

Have a Blessed New Year![[In-content Ad]]
