Hope United Methodist Church news for Jan. 31st

Dale Sechrest and John Hoff led the Worship with praise music on Sunday, January 29, with a special cello solo by John Hoff, playing Amazing Grace.

The Pastor's sermon was entitled, "The Theology of Amazing Grace," and the Scriptures were from Romans: 12:1-6 and John 1: 14-17.

Our congregation lost a good man this week. Virgil "Ike" Wasson, who has contributed so much time and talent, was laid to rest on Monday, January 30. He will be missed by all of us.

Dates to remember:

  • Prayer Team on Tuesdays at 7 pm

  • Bible Study on Wednesdays at 6 pm

  • Exchange Student Sunday on February 26

  • Mission Trip to Love Packages during Spring Break, which is March 13-17.

    There will be no Trustee Meeting in February.
