Hope United Methodist Church news for week of May 10th

By From Carol Gardner-

On Sunday, May 8, we celebrated Mother's Day. Pastor Warren's sermon was Mothers. He reminisced about his own mother, then presented hanging baskets of flowers to some special mothers in the congregation.

Following the tradition of John Perry Simmons, his daughter Bonnie, and her son Seth and family presented each person with a beautiful red geranium for Mother's Day.

May coin offering goes to the Hope Ministerial Association.
