Bozell family medical fundraising dinner

By HSJ Online [email protected]

A chicken noodle dinner will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 10th at Strawberry Fields Mercantile and Auntie Aimee's Country Team Room, to help to help the Bozell family cover the medical expenses of baby Kasey.

Organizers say that Kasey Noel Bozell was born Dec. 19th to Kyle and Sarah Bozell. She was diagnosed with an aortic stenosis and received a heart cath when she was four days old. On Jan. 20th, she had open-heart surgery.

Since then, she has been fighting off both viral and bacterial infections. She has hypertension on the right side of her heart and likely will have another surgery in the next few weeks. After that, she will require at least one more surgery to replace the valve in her heart.

She has now been in the hospital for more than eight weeks.

The fundraising dinner will be a free will donation with a dessert auction to help raise money for the family's medical expenses. For carryout dinners, you can call 812-546-0640.

You can also help by going to www.gofundme.com/Kaseybozell15 to make a donation.
