FRHC President: Progress made in search for superintendent

FRHC School Board is making progress toward naming our next superintendent. Last October, shortly after Dr. Griffey announced she would be retiring as our superintendent, the board posted for her replacement. Fourteen applicants applied for the position.

Financial aid application help available for Hauser students

The Bartholomew County Financial Literacy Coalition will be holding free help sessions assisting students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid Completion in the Library/Media Center at Hauser High School from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 4th and Feb. 18th.

Australian students visit Hauser

​Australian cousins Brad and Sam Johnson left behind blazing 107-degree heat in New South Wales and Victoria Australia wearing shorts, to arrive to 20 degrees and snow flurries in Indianapolis a few weeks ago.

Hauser principal chosen as FRHC superintendent

The Flat Rock-Hawcreek School Corp. board has chosen Shawn Price, principal of Hauser Jr./Sr. High School, as the new superintendent of the school district.

Author to return for discussion at school

Philip Gulley, the author of "A Place Called Hope," will return to Hope in April to talk to students and the public at Hope Elementary School.

FRHC Schools facing funding crunch

Flat Rock-Hawcreek schools would face a loss of $428,905 next year under the most recent general fund budget estimates, or about 7.5 percent of the district's general fund budget.
