C. Thomas Biggs Jr., 49, Scipio

Born Feb. 24th, 1966 in Rensselaer, Tom was the son of Charles Thomas and Carol Ceglarek Biggs Sr. He married Rhonda Sue Perry Jan. 16th, 1992.
He graduated from Hauser High School in Hope in 1984 and from Hanover College in 1988 with a BS in business administration. He worked at Rose Acre Farms for eighteen years and rose to Chief Financial Officer. He also was a former Vice President of Farm Credit Services of Mid-America, and later worked as a loan officer at Jackson County Bank. He had been a foster parent for seventeen years. He was a member of Shadowood Golf Course, Moose Lodge, and Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He enjoyed playing golf, softball, NASCAR, hunting, fishing, high school sports, watching his daughters participate in sports activities, and spending time with his family.
Tom is survived by his wife, Rhonda Sue Biggs of Scipio; his mother, Carol C. Biggs of Hope; daughters, Heather Renee (Dale) Czahor of Francesville, Jerri Rochelle (Jason) Bliton of North Vernon, Cynthia Danielle, Kirsten Gabrielle, and Chessler Tara Biggs of Scipio; sisters, Carol Lynn Hassell of Winchester, VA, Catherine Mary Silvers of Burke, VA, and Christina Lorraine Biggs of Columbus; grandchildren, Brett Anthony, Patrick Robert, and Connor Thomas Czahor, Amelia Paige, Cayden James, Jocelynn Renee, Ellenor Grace, and Emmett Michael Bliton.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1st, 2015 at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday and from noon until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Scipio Cemetery.
