Carlos D. Adams, 87, of Greensburg

Carlos D. Adams, 87, of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 1st, 2017 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Before retirement, Carlos worked as a truck driver for Joe Daily Trucking and Mahin Grains in Shelbyville.

He attended Burney Baptist Church, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Norristown and the Wagon Train and Outriders Association.

Carlos liked horses and wagon trains. He enjoyed going camping and fishing.

Born on March 5, 1930 in Greensburg, Carlos was the son of Donald and Mabel Allen Adams. He married Patty Isley on February 28, 1960, and she survives.

Other survivors include children, Deanna Adams of Columbus, Terry Adams of Milford, David Adams of Brownsburg, Pete (Barb) Kuhn of Columbus, Cardeana (Pat) Scudder of Burney, and Shelly (Brian) Pickett of Geneva; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; brother, Jere (Sharon) Adams of Hope; and sister, Barbara Montgomery of Shelbyville.

Carlos is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill and Kenny Adams; and nephews, Keith and Kevin Adams.

His funeral was held on Sunday, Nov. 5th at 1 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Burial was at Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery.
