Church offering Hymns of Hope


On Sunday, January 15, Hope United Methodist Church will be hosting Hymns of Hope from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m.

The program will start with David Brown accompanied by his wife, Susan, sharing the story behind five hymns and then leading the congregation in singing them. Then, there will be a special performance by the Tea Creek Baptist Choir from the Lovett area of Jennings County, followed by a short message about hope by Pastor Warren Kirk.

The program will end with a time for some hymn selections from those in attendance after a short explanation of why the song is important.

There will be a social and snack time from 6:15 to 7:05 p.m. There will be cookies and hot beverages provided by the Hope United Methodist congregation.

A meditation time will start at 7:05 p.m. including Susan Brown singing Hymn-Writer.[[In-content Ad]]
