He is survived by his wife, Marguerite A. Oswald Powell; children, James C. Powell (Janelle Gernentz) of Hope, Angelia M. (Randal) Watts of Hartsville and Robert A. (Michelle) Powell of Columbus; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
