Deadline nears for art show

The Bartholomew County Historical Society is accepting entries for its art show themed, Remembrance, which will run from October 15 through November 25 at the Haw Creek Heritage Center in Hope. Entries must be submitted by October 10. There is an entry fee of $10 per item, or three entries for $25. Cash prizes will be awarded for studio art, 3-D traditional art and photography in both adult and children's categories. Artists and the public are invited to attend the opening of the show on October 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Haw Creek Heritage Center. Light refreshments will be served.
