Press release

Space is still available for Code Red Training, offered by Purdue Extension Bartholomew County.

Code Red provides a spreadsheet-based tool for capturing farm or small business information that would be critical should something happen to a key member of the team. The training will be held on Friday, Feb. 19th, at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds Family Arts Building, 12:30 to 2:30 pm. Lunch is available at 11:30 a.m., and is included in the $10 registration.

The Code Red tool helps a family or small business to collect important information such as account numbers, passwords, rental agreements, insurance papers and power of attorney documents in one easy location. This can help farm families and businesses continue to operate in the event of an emergency. It can also be a tool that helps families to get started on estate and/or succession planning.

Call 812-379-1665 to register; additional family members may attend at no cost. Participants should bring a laptop if they have one.[[In-content Ad]]
