Family of Hope teen looks to sue town of Nashville in death
Scrogham was killed in a motorcycle crash late last month near Hope after a police chase through Columbus and Bartholomew County by an off-duty Nashville reserve police officer in a town police car. The Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department has launched a criminal investigation into the incident.
The McCain Law Offices in Indianapolis announced last week that it had filed a tort claim notice against the town of Nashville, a step required before filing a lawsuit against a government body in Indiana.[[In-content Ad]]
