Firefighters reach agreement over new station

Press release

The men and women of the Hope Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. are pleased to announce the resolution and settlement of the litigation involving the new fire house. The resolution of this lawsuit now allows the department to move on and work to put the new fire station in a position to open. We are hopeful that can be accomplished as quickly as possible.

We have received tremendous support from our community and many others throughout the state, and we are very thankful and grateful.

We believe this settlement brings a new day to the Hope Volunteer Fire Department and allows us to continue to serve the citizens of Hope and Hawcreek Township for years to come.

We are excited about the opening of the new fire station and look forward to the day we can open the doors to the new station.

We thank the members of the community who were supportive and all the firefighters of Bartholomew County. We couldn't have done it without them.[[In-content Ad]]
