Survivors include sons, Ike (Erica) Newland of Hope and Dustin Newland of Columbus; a daughter, Tammie (Daryl) White of Florida; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 am Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Rev. Michael Brown officiating.
Calling will be from 9 am until service time at the funeral home.
Cremation will take place following the funeral.
