Hauser earns state berth at Science Olympiad
Hauser Jr. High School placed fourth Saturday in the 2016 Science Olympiad Regional tournament, earning it a berth at the state level.
Science Olympiad, one of the country's premier science tournaments, provides rigorous team-building challenges in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math, according to the organization.
It exposes students to different career choices and energize teachers to help students realize their dreams.
Hauser winners in various categories were:
Addison Jones and Elijah Heslop, third place, Anatomy and Physiology
Chloe Kennedy and Clayton West, third place, Crave the Wave
Cade Whittington, Lance Bruer and Thomas Essex, second place, Experimental Design
Kennedy and Heslop, second place, Meteorology
Bruer and Whittington, first place, Mission Possible
Kennedy and Heslop, second place, Road Scholar
Kennedy and Landon Asher, third place, Wind Power
Bruer and Ashley Chambers, second place, Write-It Do-It
