Hauser runners finish third

High School
The Jets' Naomi Gollmer (26:14) finished 4th, behind a Waldron trio of Hannah Sullivan, Shelby Gustin, and Victoria Shaw. Abbey Ashbrook was 8th (29:15), followed in 9th place by MaLeah Bates (29:37). Jada Asher finished 20th (37:43) and Kristin Keith was 22nd (42:29).
Waldron won the girls varsity contest with 26 points. Southwestern scored 54, Hauser 63, and Edinburgh 70.
In the boys race, Southwestern's Nick Yeend and Hayden Veach went one and two, followed by Hauser's Owen Rush (19:29) and David Seelye (20:05). Josh Adams (21:51) and Austin Everroad (21:54) came in 12th and 13th. Sam Robinson finished 17th (22:59), Jordan Johnson 19th (24:48) and Hunter Albright 22nd (25:56).
Hauser's boys scored 47 points, behind Southwestern's 28 and Waldron's 45.
Middle School
Hallie Schweitzer of Triton Central won the girls race in 12:50.
Hope's Hannah Taylor finished 14th with a time of 14:48, and Zoee Nading crossed the line in 15:15 for 17th place. Hauser's team was rounded out by Ashley Chambers 22nd (15:46), Hae-Leigh Washburn 33rd (18:14), and Tammy Essex 36th (18:46). The girls took 4th place out six competing teams.
The boys race was won by Triton Central's Jack Baker with a time 11:32.
Ryan Ault (12:20) and Tanner Ault (12:27) led the Jets with 9th and 11th place finishes. Landon Asher (13:36) and Dylan Burgess (13:37) took 21st and 22nd, while Noah Estes (14:10) and Kobe Meahl (14:18) went 28th and 29th. Other Hauser finishers: Eli Miller 35th (15:52), Carter Scott 36th (16:28), Dawson Paul 37th (16:29), Eric Coy 39th (16:39), Alex Bower 43rd (17:15), Zachary Romine 44th (17:16), and Hayden Stoddard 46th (18:17) .
