Hauser takes two wins from Trinity Lutheran

The Hauser Jets baseball team came away with a pair of wins against Trinity Lutheran Saturday.

Hauser won the first game coming from behind scoring four runs in the bottom of the 7th to win 7-6. Sophomore Eric McMullen earned the victory for the Jets, pitching a complete game. Senior Brooks Bailey led the Jets at the plate, going 3-4 with two singles and a triple.

Nathan Branum went 2-2 at the plate with a key RBI double in the 7th inning rally, later scoring the game winning run off a Trinity Lutheran error.

The Jets won the second game 10-0 in 5 innings. Senior Rory Thayer got the victory, pitching a complete game one-hit shutout. Senior Brooks Bailey led the Jets again at the plate going 2-3 with a double and two RBI's. Rory Thayer and Junior Will Rose each contributed doubles.

Hauser improves to 4-1 on the season.

The next game is this Wednesday, April 15th, at Eastern Hancock. Start time is 5:30 pm.
