Hauser track teams finish second at New Pal

The girls team got a strong start in the jumping events, as Jordan McDaniel won the high jump and Danielle Sneed, Sidney Schoen, and Haley Embry took the top three places for the Jets in long jump. Grace Hassler won both the 100 high hurdles and the 300 low hurdles, and Hauser's 4 x 400 relay team finished first.
Ryan Seim jumped 18 feet, 10 inches and placed a close second in the 200 meter dash to lead Hauser's boys in scoring. Triton Central's Brady Gossett took firsts in the 200 and 400, and New Palestine's Riley Wilson swept the long distance races, wining the 800, 1600 and 3200 as well as running a leg of New Pal's winning 4 x 800 relay.
The Jets compete again Thursday at Rushville and Friday in the Edinburgh Lancer Relays.
