Hope man found sleeping in stolen vehicle

A Hope man was arrested Sunday morning after he was found sleeping in a stolen truck.

At approximately 9:35 a.m., Columbus Police Officers Logan Adams and Kelly Holley were dispatched to a store parking lot in 700 block of Whitfield Drive in Columbus in regards to a suspicious person inside a vehicle. Upon their arrival, they located Brian Sosbe, a 32-year-old Hope resident, slumped over in the driver's seat.

The officers determined a short time later that the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Sosbe was sleeping in had been stolen from Shelby County. Sosbe was taken into custody and officers allegedly located a syringe in Sosbe's clothing. Sosbe was transported to the Bartholomew County Jail where he was remanded on the following preliminary charges:
