Hope teen among dozens arrested at underage drinking party
By Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department-
On Feb. 23rd, at approximately 11:37 p.m., Bartholomew County Emergency Operations Center received a tip of a large underage drinking party.
Deputies responded to the scene and discovered a large party of approximately 75 to 100 people. The scene was controlled and 35 people were arrested.
The following subjects were arrested for Illegal Consumption:
The following subjects were arrested for Battery and Disorderly Conduct after getting into a fight during the incident:
The following subject was arrested for Illegal Consumption and Resisting Law Enforcement after fleeing out a window during the incident. He was captured by ISP Trooper Jacob Tolle a short distance away.
Nine juveniles were also arrested for Illegal Consumption.
A substantial amount of marijuana was recovered from the scene.
This is a preliminary investigation. All persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
