ORDINANCE NO. 2016-09
An Ordinance amending Chapter 5 of the Hope Town Code
Whereas, the Hope Town Council has reviewed the Hope Town Code and has determined that Chapter 5, "Parks and Recreation" should be amended;
Now therefore, be it ordained by the Town Council of the Town of Hope, Indiana:
1. That Chapter 9, Article 4 "Town Park Regulations", Sec 5-31 is hereby added as follows:
Unless prior approval is obtained from the Town Council, the following activities/items are not permitted in town parks:
1. Alcoholic beverages
2. Fires; except for cooking fires in self-contained apparatus
3. Rock Climbing wall
4. Bounce houses and/or inflatable slides
5. Slip and slides or water slides
6. Trampolines
7. Petting zoos
8. Pony rides
9. Fireworks
10. Overnight camping
11. Motorized model airplanes or cars
12. Archery
13. Firearms
14. Other activities deemed dangerous or inappropriate by the Council
This Ordinance is hereby passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Hope, Indiana, this ______ day of ___________________, 2016.
