Hope United Methodist Church news for April 12th

On Palm Sunday we had the "Triumphant Entry" of the children waving palm branches and passing them out to all in the congregation. Scriptures were Psalm 118:1-2, 19-29 and Gospel Lesson was from Matthew 21:1-11.

There are many in our church family and beyond who need our prayers, and we continue to remember them on our Prayer List.

We need a VBS Coordinator for HUMC, and substitute Sunday School Teachers once a month.

David Webster is facilitating a book study related to "The Dream Seller" each Friday from 11-12 at the Library Annex.

Thanks to our "garden gnomes," Dale, John & Butch.

Dates to remember

  • Tuesdays at 7 p.m. - Prayer Team

  • Wednesdays at 6 p.m. - Bible Study

  • Friday at 1 p.m. - Community Good Friday Service

    Our Easter Sunday schedule will be Sunrise Service at 7 am on the Hope Town Square; Breakfast at the Church at 8 am; Easter Egg Hunt at 9 am; and Easter Worship Service at 9:30 am.
