Hope United Methodist Church News for April 27th
By From Carol Gardner-
On Sunday, April 24, it was good to have Pastor Warren and Helen back from their vacation.
The sermons were based on the Bible Verse, "Love Your Neighbor as Yourself."
We have many on our prayer list. Especially remember those who have recently lost loved ones, and those suffering from illness.
Dates to remember:
Tuesdays at 7 p.m. -- Prayer Team
Wednesdays at 6 p.m. -- Bible Study
Wednesday, April 27 at 7 p.m. -- PPRC Meeting
Thursdays at 3 p.m. -- Good News Club at Hope Elementary
Sunday, May 1 at 6 p.m. -- Discussion of the future of UMC General Conference Issues
Thursday, May 5 -- Pastor Warren and Carolyn Gernentz to Branchville Prison Revival and Worship Service
Wednesday, May 4 at 7 p.m. -- Trustees Meeting
Sunday, May 22, we will have Patrick and Jessica Alyea will return to tell us about their Mission to Hungary. We will have a special collection to help fund their trip, and a pitch-in dinner will follow the Worship Service.
"Look! I'm making all things new." (Revelation 21:5)
