Hope United Methodist Church news for Aug. 10th

Our service on Sunday morning was led by David Webster, with Mark Rominger as Liturgist.

The theme was "Courage," the second part of the Serenity Prayer.

Dates to Remember:

  • Wednesday, Aug. 10 at 6 pm ~ Bible Study

  • Wednesday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. -- Church Council Meeting

  • Saturday, Aug. 13 at 8:30 a.m. -- Short Trustee Meeting

  • Saturday, Aug. 13 at 9 a.m. -- Trustee Work Day ~ All Invited!

  • Sunday, Aug. 14 at 10:30 a.m. -- Steven Gross and family will lead our worship, telling of their mission in Haiti. There will be a pitch-in meal following the service.

    The Revival Bartholomew County will be the week of Aug. 24.

    The Health Fair is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

    Feed My Starving Children will be Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. for HUMC. It will be at Asbury Church in Columbus.

    Thanks to everyone for donations for those in need in our county.
