Hope United Methodist Church News for Feb. 2nd

By From Carol Gardner-

On Sunday, January 31, we had Dale Secrest and John Hoff leading the service with Praise Music.

David Webster introduced them, and was the Liturgist. Pastor Warren's sermon was based on I Corinthians 13:1-13, and Luke 4:21-30, all about Love.

Pastor Warren will be leading a Lenten Bible Study on Sunday evenings, beginning the first Sunday of Lent, February 14. It will begin at 6 pm, and will study the Seven Last Words of Christ.

United Methodist Women met on February 2 to plan the year 2016 activities, and to elect new officers.
