Hope United Methodist Church news for Jan. 16th

Nelda opened with the prelude, "Great is Thy Faithfulness." Matthew Tobias was Liturgist, and led the Call to Worship. Pastor Warren's sermon was taken from the Scriptures, I Corinthians 1:1-9, and John 1:29-42.
We have many on our prayer list, and all were prayed for during the Pastoral Prayer. Thanks to David Webster for helping to arrange the "Hymns of Hope" program on Sunday evening, and to those who brought refreshments. It was enjoyed by many.

Tuesdays at 7 p.m. -- Prayer Team
Wednesdays at 6 p.m. -- Bible Study
Sunday, Feb. 26 -- Exchange Student Sunday. All Exchange students and their parents are invited to attend worship and a pitch-in meal.
