Hope United Methodist Church news for March 15th

By From Carol Gardner-

On the 5th Sunday of Lent, Pastor Warren's sermon was entitled "Extravagant Love...Do We Have it? It was based on Scripture John 12:1-8, which tells of Mary annointing Jesus' feet with very expensive oils.

The Children's Lenten Tree ornament represented the nail on the cross where Jesus died.

The six people who left Sunday on the Love Packages Mission had a special laying on of hands for their safe journey and fulfilling experience. They are to return on Wednesday, March 16.

Thanks to Andy T and Dennis M for the new handrail at the front steps of the Parsonage.

Also thanks to those who are involved in making needed repairs to the church.

Coin Offering for March: One Great Hour of Sharing.

There will be no Bible Study on Wednesday, March 16.
