Hope United Methodist Church news for March 1st

By From Carol Gardner-

On Sunday, Feb. 26th, our church hosted 10 Exchange Students and their host families for worship with a pitch-in dinner afterwards.

It was a very enlightening time, with each one sharing something about themselves and their experiences.

Dale Sechrest led the music with Praise Songs, accompanied by Emma Mundy on the violin for special music. Emma, who is a very accomplished musician, also performed solo.

The theme for our service was "Many Cultures, One God"

Dates to remember:

Tuesdays at 7 p.m. -- Prayer Team Meeting

Wednesdays at 6 p.m. -- Bible Study

Sunday, March 12 -- Leave for mission trip to Love Packages, returning March 13.

We are beginning a new Sunday School program, beginning Sunday, March 5, with classes for Nursery, Pre-School, Beginning Elementary (Ages 6-8), Elementary (Ages 9-12), Junior High (Ages 13-16), and Adults. Time will be 9:30 a.m.

Our new Directory will be available soon.
