Hope United Methodist Church news for Nov. 14th

By From Carol Gardner-

On Sunday, Nov. 13, we honored our veterans.

Pastor Warren's message to the children was about Veterans Day, and he had each of them present a bookmark to the veterans.

The Scripture Lesson was from Isaiah 65:17-25, and the Gospel Lesson was from Luke 21-5-19.

Thanks to all who helped make the Soup & Sandwich Luncheon a success, especially Carla, for assuming the coordination in Marsha's absence.

Thanks to the youth and Sherry, Susan and Brenda for coordinating our Shoe Box Ministry.

Thanks to Joe Whittington for donating a storage unit for items for the homeless. Food and clothing are still needed.

November Coin Offerings go to the Lucille Raines Home and Love Packages
