Hospital to offer COPD session Thursday

Columbus Regional Health's Lung Institute and Pulmonary Services will host a free awareness and information session on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) session from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 19 at Mill Race Center.

In recognition of November being COPD Awareness Month, Columbus Regional Health presents a free op­portunity to learn more about this lung disease.

If you suspect you or somebody you love has COPD, or if you are just interested in learning more about it, you are invited to this informative presentation. Dr. Raymond Kiser will discuss the disease, including risk factors and treatment options. Early diagnosis and treatment may help those affected with the disease lead better quality lives.
