Press release

Columbus Regional Health is pleased to announce the completion of a nearly two-year building project to expand its Cancer Center. In celebration of the expansion and renovation, the Cancer Center at Columbus Regional Health is hosting an open house. The public is invited to join in the celebration between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24 at the Cancer Center. Tour the new space, meet the physicians and learn more about cancer care services.

The expansion project, which broke ground in 2014, added more than 6,600 square feet to the existing space, which sits just off the main entrance of the hospital. The expanded and renovated center now offers an extended waiting area, new, larger chemotherapy treatment bays, a bigger pharmacy and the addition of two more private patient rooms for exams or treatments. The providers and staff of the Cancer Center are also elated to soon welcome two new radiation oncologists and offer patients a broader range of cutting-edge treatment options.

The Cancer Center at Columbus Regional Health is located on the hospital main campus in Columbus. Two convenient entrances are available to patients and visitors - the main hospital entrance offers valet parking. The courtyard entrance of the Cancer Center offers a circle drive and covered awning.[[In-content Ad]]
