Kathryn Ann Blackburn, 70, of Hope, died Feb. 7, 2018 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born April 30, 1947 in Shelbyville she was the daughter of Charles Henry and Doris Marcella Wells Lortz. Kathy lived in Haiti for several years where she was a missionary. She enjoyed doing crafts, studying the Bible and loved her dogs. A graveside service will be held Monday, Feb. 12th at 3:30 p.m. at Hawcreek Cemetery. The funeral arrangements were made through Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Memorial contributions may be donated to Norman Funeral Home to help defray Kathy's funeral expenses.

Kathy is survived by children, Chuck Blackburn, Scott Blackburn, Mary Blackburn, Rose Holly, Rebecca Blackburn, Bobby Blackburn, Steve Blackburn, Aaron Blackburn, Noah Blackburn, Yvonne Williams, Joann Blackburn, Cheryl Blackburn, Benjamin Blackburn, Jacob Blackburn, Matthew Blackburn, Andrew Blackburn, Jemima Blackburn, Samuel Blackburn, Thomas Blackburn, Michael Blackburn, Elizabeth Morris, Rachel Blackburn, Adwoa Blackburn, Gideon Blackburn, Abigail Blackburn, Jeremiah Blackburn, Mark Blackburn and Thaddeus Blackburn; 44 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; siblings, Marva Andrews of Hope, Norma (Mike) Johnson of Azaela, Stephen (Jolene) Lortz of Flat Rock, Marianne (John) Memarian of Shelbyville and Jon Lortz of Columbus.
